Hello and welcome back to the Friday Forecast! As we are coming to the end of the second week in December, I’m sure a lot of you already have your Christmas decorations up or are at least starting. Personally, I am a Christmas fanatic and have had my decorations up for a few weeks already. There is just something so cozy about sitting in the living room with all the Christmas lights on.
If some of you are stumped on what to put out this year and want to get a little crafty, then you have come to the right place! I have a few Christmas decor ideas that are fun, easy, cheap and pretty!

How cute is this?! What a simple solution to a centerpiece or even a side table decoration. All you need is glass holders, pine cones, and LED battery lights! You could always add some greenery for that extra Christmas flare.

This is my personal favourite. Mason jar floating candle centerpieces! They glow beautifully in the dark too. All you need for these are mason jars, sprigs of rosemary (or fake greenery), cranberries, and a floating candle. Just fill the mason jar with water, add rosemary and cranberries, and floating candle on top.

While this may not be a decoration, it sure will make your home smell like Christmas! Here is an easy home made potpourri recipe:
-1/2 cup fresh cranberries
-1 orange (sliced)
-4 cinnamon sticks
-1 tablespoon cloves
-1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Bring 3 cups of water plus contents to a simmer on low heat, uncovered in a small pot. Check the water periodically and add more water if it starts to get low. You will love this one!
If you have any DIY Christmas ideas we would love to know about them! Leave a comment below and enjoy your weekend!
